Who we are
Orvelle is an online boutique based in Beirut, Lebanon, and is responsible for the personal information described here. For anything about your data, write to info@orvellelb.com or message us on WhatsApp at +961 00 000 000.
What we collect
When you order: your name, phone number, email address (if you give one), delivery address and any note you add, plus what you ordered and how you paid. If you save pieces to your wishlist, we keep that list. When you create an account: your name, email and a securely hashed password — we never see the password itself — and, if you switch them on, two-factor authentication or passkey details. If you order through Instagram, WhatsApp, by phone or in our shop, our team records the same order details for you.
Why we use it
To prepare and deliver your order, call you to confirm it, send your order confirmation and status updates, arrange size exchanges, answer your messages, and keep the records the law asks of a business. We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them.
Who we share it with
Only with those who help us serve you: our delivery courier receives your name, phone number and address to bring your order; our email provider sends your order emails; and our hosting provider stores the website’s data. Each receives only what that task needs. We may also share information when the law requires it.
Payments
You pay in cash on delivery, so we never see or store card details.
Cookies
We use a few cookies that the site needs to work: one keeps you signed in and protects forms from misuse, one remembers your shopping bag and one your wishlist (each for up to a year, so they are still there when you come back), and, in your account area, one remembers your light or dark display choice. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies today; if we add them, we will update this page first.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as Lebanese accounting and tax rules require. Account details are kept until you delete your account. Your shopping bag is cleared when you order. A guest bag or wishlist is linked only to an anonymous code in your browser, and the pieces you save are kept until you remove them or delete your account.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted — except order records we must keep by law. Signed-in customers can update their details and delete their account at any time from Settings. For anything else, write to info@orvellelb.com and we will reply within 30 days.
How we protect it
The site runs over an encrypted connection, passwords are hashed, and only the Orvelle staff who handle orders can see order details, each with their own protected sign-in.
Children
Our shop is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. We handle personal data in line with Lebanese law, including Law No. 81 of 2018 on electronic transactions and personal data.
